Skills
A skill is a short playbook for a kind of request, such as "create a lesson" or "look up an invoice". Frankie drafts skills from your actions; you review, edit and publish them. Drafts never reach the agent.
Every skill has the same parts:
- When to use it: the requests it covers.
- Required inputs: what the agent must ask for and never invent.
- Quality bar: what a good result has beyond the fields the API requires. An API may accept a lesson with just a title; a good lesson also has a summary, a level, a realistic length and sections. The skill says which of those the agent drafts, which it asks you for, and that it shows you the full result before saving.
- Steps, reporting back, and what to do when something fails.
A skill can only use actions that are switched on, and only the ones it lists. Switching an action off removes it from every skill.
tip
The better your API describes its fields (descriptions, allowed values, defaults, limits), the better the drafts.
